Paradise Stone

A schist like sedimentary limestone from Whangarei. Paradise Stone is a unique, very popular high-grade limestone. This stone has lovely grey colour when split, has the advantage of a calcite deposit rustic face variation also.

This North island stone is an excellent choice with an exposed flush mortar joint, but equally just as good laid with a recessed dark mortar joint.

However it looks exceptional when laid to the highest standard “dry-stack” style see photos below.
